Frequently asked questions.
Do you all offer trail rides, pony rides, and birthday parties?
We are sorry we do not offer these services but could recommend folks who do.
Can I stall board my horse?
Unfortunately we do not have room for horses on stall board. If there was an emergency we could offer a temporary stall for a brief time period.
Can I take lessons or bring my own trainer to teach me?
We are not able to accommodate outside instructors nor we do teach riding ourselves.
Will you blanket my horse?
It states in our contract that we will blanket in the case of extreme weather such as cold rain, snow, sleet, or extreme cold temperatures. If your horse is body clipped he/she is probably not a good fit for our farm.
Can I feed any grain I want?
Sure! We will feed any grain that you provide in the amount that you specify.
Will you add supplements to my horses food?
We will add up to one supplement twice a day at no charge, any additional supplements well be added on to your base board amount.
Can I choose my own Farrier?
If there is someone in particular you would like to use, you are more than welcome. The responsibility will be on you to meet the Ferrier and hold her horse for them and pay them. We have a Ferrier that comes out every 4 to 5 weeks and there’s no charge for catching your horse and holding him. You are responsible for leaving a check ahead of time for the trim and or shoes.
My horse doesn’t like the Farrier or the vet- What if they need to be sedated?
If your horse has an adversion to the vet or Farrier and require sedation, you will be responsible for the cost of the sedation and you will also be responsible to be here while the shoeing or the vet visit takes place. If you live out of state we can discuss how this will handled on a case by case basis.
Can you groom and bathe my horse for me? I live out of state and I won’t be able to get there.
We would be happy to do that for you. Please see our price list for prices.
What if there is an emergency with my horse?
Your horses well-being is our main concern. If there is a situation with your horse you will be contacted immediately. If you would like to contact the vet you may or we can do that for you. We will stabilize the horse until you and the vet can get here. If we cannot reach you first, we will immediately call the vet.
Can my horse be turned out alone?
We do not have individual paddocks for horses, all of our turn outs are group turn outs with run in sheds.
