Meet the Team
A Mother & Daughter Duo

FounderHello! My name is Allison and I am a self-confessed crazy adult! Originally from New England I started off as a horse crazy kid. I have been riding since I was five years old, I came from a non-horsey family. I begged my parents for riding lessons and they finally consented. I was what you would call a barn rat, hanging out at the barn any chance I could. I used to clean stalls/do barn chores to help pay for lessons. At age 13, a friend of a friend had a pony that they were not using anymore so they gave that pony to me. That ponies name was Reveille-hence the name of our farm - Reveille Ridge. I will always be thankful for the opportunity that they provided to a horse loving teenager like myself.
My riding background is varied, I started off dabbling in hunters, eventing, dressage through my childhood. After college and marriage, I decided to buy my first horse and I was able to compete and ride at the A show level in the adult amateur hunters. I have always done all the care for my horses myself since I never really had the funds to pay for grooms at the shows.
Now, it is my full-time job to take care of the animals here on the farm. I do all the stall cleaning, feeding, and grooming myself. My husband takes care of mowing, seeding, fence repairs, and ring dragging. I pride myself on taking care of the horses that are here as they were my own. I personally look at every horse multiple times a day.
I still do enjoy riding, even though I currently do not have a horse of my own. My daughter rides extensively, so sometimes I ride her horse or whatever ride I can get! I am grateful for the opportunity to be out in nature every day and spend time with these incredibly smart equines!

She is extremely organized and knowledgeable. She is a D3 in horse management for Pony Club. She is also a member of the Interscholastic Equestrian Association where she rides for a team.
